Your reference for accessing Haiti's public data. We connect researchers, analysts and decision-makers to the information they need to contribute to the country's development.
AYITISTATS was founded in 2025 with a clear vision: to create a bridge between Haiti's public data and those who need it. Our platform offers a centralized and methodically structured repository of all freely accessible, reusable, and redistributable data from the country under open licenses.
We firmly believe that simplified access to information could be a fundamental pillar for Haiti's sustainable development. By rigorously structuring and classifying these resources, we simplify the work of researchers, analysts, journalists, students, and policymakers, enabling them to more easily identify data relevant to their projects.
Our ambition is to maintain a neutral, comprehensive, and continuously updated repository of public data sources on Haiti, while developing tools that make them easier to discover and use.
We believe that public data should be easily accessible to everyone. Our platform is designed to eliminate access barriers and simplify information discovery.
We are committed to referencing only official and reliable sources, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data offered.
We work with partners and constantly develop new tools to facilitate access, visualization and analysis of Haiti's data.
The idea for AYITISTATS emerged from the absence of a centralized repository for easily accessing data on Haiti. Finding relevant information required lengthy navigation from one website to another, with no guarantee of results. In response to this challenge, a team of engaged citizens decided to build a solution.
Creation of a functional prototype to validate the key concepts of our repository. Identification of initial sources, validation of the technical architecture and core functionalities.
Start of complete technical development of the platform. Implementation of the final infrastructure, initial referencing of official data sources, and continuous expansion of the catalog.
Official online launch of AYITISTATS with an initial catalog listing more than 10,000 datasets and official reports, from more than 100 institutional sources.
Launch of an interactive graphics library: mapping Haitian enterprises, sectoral visualizations (restaurants, hotels, finance, energy), in-demand career profiles, and popular fields of study.
Together, we can create a more accessible and transparent data ecosystem for Haiti. Contribute to our mission by sharing your knowledge or using our resources for your projects.
